Permanent makeup questions
Is permanent makeup truly permanent?
Pigment can remain for years, but appearance changes with healing, fading, skin, sun exposure, color choice, technique and maintenance. It should not be described as guaranteed to disappear.
Can existing work be covered?
Not always. Color, saturation, shape, placement and skin condition must be assessed. Removal or additional fading may be the safer aesthetic path.
Will the healed color look like day one?
No. Fresh work commonly appears different from the healed result. Healing varies, and color or shape should be evaluated only after the advised healing period.
What should I disclose?
Share health conditions, pregnancy or nursing status, medications, allergies, skin issues, prior pigment and recent procedures. Medical clearance may be appropriate in some situations.
